One of my good friends wanted to play dress up! so we just started putting pieces from my closet together and ended up with this outfit! i know you can't see the front, sorry about that, but we forgot to take more pics! anyways, we both really liked this outfit. Playing dress up was a lot of fun and beneficial! I  laughed and discovered some old pieces i had tucked away :)! hope you like it!

So i did a little sale shopping throughout january and febuary! i am very pleased with my purchases. I hope everyone understands that i am in no way bragging, i just want to show what kind of style i like :).

Sorry about the background mess, I have been in the process of cleaning my room! Luckily, while i was cleaning my room i came across this beautiful scarf that I haven't used forever. I got it about 3-4 years ago and i think the color is beautiful for spring and summer. 

         Scarf: It is a deep fuchsia with a decorative pattern, hints of green. It is two toned with a light pink! i love it :)

The Things I adored in January

1. The Cottage: it is this cute and quaint breakfast/brunch restaurant that has thee most AMAZING jam and scones! yum :)

2. Isabel's Cantina: asian and latin fusion restaurant! their food is good, but i don't know if asian and latin fusion is the right way to describe their food selection. Pricey.

3. MAC: Just made a small post about this! i am so excited to try the so sweet, so easy creme blend blush and the dervish lip pencil!

4. Anthropologie: My first anthropology purchase gals! i got a cute teal/ light blue cardigan and a renaissance style shirt!

5. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (us): I have to say that i love the swedish version of the girl with the dragon tattoo movie trilogy, i did like the US version too! i have to say that Rooney Mara blew me away! she was amazing!

6. The Bistro: A asian inspired restaurant on campus! super yummy food!

7. Macarons: I went to Opera Cafe and was thrilled that they had macarons! It was my first time trying them and trust me, i will be going back for some more :).

8. Opera Cafe: Yummy food too! i had a pesto chicken panini! it was quick to be served and filling :)

GOLLY GUMDROPS!

i was just on UO and they are having an amazing sale and all i want to do is buy, buy. buy. Not to mention the fact that i have my eye on a creme blend blusher by mac and a beautiful lipliner! so all in all, all this will definitely make a dent in my pocket.

But i do feel like today is the day to treat myself in a way. by the end of the day, i will have finished 2 midterms! The weekend is going to be amazing! But then I'm going to spend again when i go to target and a birthday dinner! i don't know how I'm going to survive!

I will just breathe, treat myself and work really hard!

MIDTERMS!!!

I have two midterms tomorrow and all i can think about is getting my hands on mac's creme blend blush so sweet, so easy! I'm making myself wait till i finish my midterms and then i can treat myself.

UPDATE:

I finally got a job! its nothing fancy, I am going to be working at my universities bookstore. I can finally have an income :).

i need to update this blog more often!
